Texo Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a 3-month contract based in the Runcorn/Widnes area. This role involves the specialised transport of Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) between two key processing facilities.

Hourly Rate: £18.13 per hour

Shift Pattern: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off

Hours: 06:00 to 18:00 (12-hour shifts)

Duration: 3 Months (Fixed Term)

The route is consistent and local, running specifically between:

  • Collection: Runcorn
  • Delivery: Widnes

Due to the nature of the product, drivers must ensure all loads are properly secured and that health and safety protocols are strictly followed at both the energy-from-waste site and the processing facility.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
