Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced and commercially focused
Sales & Business Development Manager to support the expansion of their decommissioning, intervention and late-life asset portfolio.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional with experience in the oil and gas sector to play a key role in developing new business, creating client relationships and delivering commercially successful solutions.
Reporting into the commercial leadership team, you will manage the full sales lifecycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to proposal development, contract award and project handover.
You\'ll work closely with engineering, product and commercial teams to develop tailored technical solutions that meet client requirements while supporting the company\'s strategic growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow market share across decommissioning, intervention and late-life asset support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, EPC contractors, service companies and technology partners.
- Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to project delivery, ensuring solutions align with both technical and commercial requirements.
- Identify, qualify and progress new business opportunities, maintaining a healthy and accurate sales pipeline.
- Prepare and deliver quotations, commercial proposals, technical presentations and client demonstrations.
- Support tendering activities and project documentation, including coordination of the IWOCS tendering process.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver integrated technical solutions.
- Provide product and technical support to customers, including occasional international travel.
- Represent the business at industry exhibitions, networking events and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate CRM records to support sales forecasting, reporting and business planning.
- Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, providing updates on opportunities, bid activity and forecasted revenue.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities.
- Produce regular sales reports and performance updates against agreed business objectives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Proven sales and business development experience within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of decommissioning and intervention markets.
- Experience with product and system sales within the energy industry.
- Knowledge of IWOCS control systems and their application.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to develop long-term client relationships.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activity and pipeline reporting.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
