The Utility Surveyor will conduct detailed surveys to locate, map, and inspect underground utilities. The position involves using various techniques such as ground-penetrating radar (GPR), electromagnetic induction, and GPS to gather accurate data, which is then analysed to create reports and maps for construction, planning, and maintenance purposes.

- Take a lead role in planning and executing utility survey projects.
- Responsible for ensuring that utility surveys are conducted safely, efficiently and correctly in compliance with survey scope documents provided.
- Ensuring a consistent standard of delivery is always supplied to clients.
- Promote a robust safety culture and ensure Texo Safety Management System (SMS) is utilised correctly.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Texo DSI survey specifications are delivered in accordance with survey scope provided.
- Ensuring Texo DSI data management protocols are always adhered to.
- Provide guidance, leadership and expertise to Junior team members.
- Make recommendations for product quality and reliability.
- Assist and support the client proposal process at the bidding stage to maximise the company's opportunity to win the work.
- Use a range of surveying techniques to detect and map underground utilities (e.g., gas, water, electricity, telecom).
- Gather accurate data on utility locations, depth, and condition by using specialized surveying equipment (e.g., electromagnetic locators, GPR).
- Conduct site visits to assess and collect field data for utility mapping, including visual inspections and measurement of infrastructure.
- Create detailed and accurate utility maps and reports, including updates to CAD drawings or GIS systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to ensure the safety of yourself and others during fieldwork.
