TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for a Draughtsman for one of our external clients. This is an exciting opportunity based in either Northumberland or Aberdeenshire, offering exposure to a diverse range of offshore and marine engineering projects within a fast-paced and technically demanding environment. The draughtsman will support project delivery through the production of detailed technical drawings, manufacturing information, site surveys and production documentation while working closely with project and construction teams.

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings and models
  • Support the Construction Manager with Material Take Offs (MTOs)
  • Prepare cutting files for production and fabrication
  • Carry out dimensional surveys on-site
  • Attend site visits and liaise with project teams where required
  • Develop detailed production and manufacturing drawings
  • Ensure drawings and technical documentation are completed to required standards and deadlines
  • Assist with design modifications and problem solving throughout project delivery
  • Maintain organised drawing records and revisions
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth project coordination

Requirements

  • Experience producing both 2D and 3D drawings
  • Proficient in industry standard software including AutoCAD, Rhino and Inventor
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Full valid driving licence
