TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for Civils Site Engineers to play a key role in the successful delivery of civil engineering works for one of our external clients in Durham. This position offers the opportunity to be hands on across a variety of infrastructure projects, providing accurate setting out, technical expertise and practical site support. Working closely with construction teams, you will help ensure works are executed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, contributing directly to the quality and success of each project.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate setting out and technical support across live civil engineering sites
- Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and safety requirements
- Maintain site records, as-built drawings and measurement information
- Support the commercial team with accurate site data for valuations
- Assist with quality, safety and compliance with company and contract requirements
- Provide short-term site management cover when required
- Liaise effectively with site teams, clients and subcontractors
Requirements
- HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Competent with Microsoft Office
- Experience with survey software (LSS / N4CE) desirable
- 2–3 years experience within construction / civil engineering
- Exposure to: Highways, Piling / foundations, FRCs
