We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a commercial team supporting a range of projects across manufacturing, fabrication, and construction environments. The role offers flexibility to be based in either Aberdeen or Dundee, depending on candidate preference.

You will play a key role in delivering accurate cost control, commercial reporting, and contract administration across multiple projects, working closely with operational teams and clients to ensure strong financial performance and project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Cost Control, Finance, or Quantity Surveying
  • Background in manufacturing/fabrication is desirable but not essential (transferable skills considered)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills (internal and external)
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Degree qualified or equivalent (desirable)
  • Advanced Excel skills (essential)
  • Strong communication skills (essential)
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (desirable)

Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for all Cost Control activities
  • Preparation and submission of Applications for Payment (AFP’s)
  • Work In Progress (WIP) reconciliation and reporting
  • Client engagement and contract administration
  • Weekly and monthly KPI / financial reporting
  • Liaison with project and operational teams
  • Continuous improvement of commercial processes where required
  • Change management and commercial administration
