Our client, a global leader in the energy sector, is seeking an experienced Field Professional - Reservoir Evaluation to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional to work with industry-leading technologies while supporting complex reservoir evaluation and well testing operations across a diverse portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality testing and subsea services, providing technical expertise to customers, and mentoring junior field personnel. This position offers significant opportunities for professional development within a highly respected international organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply specialist knowledge of well testing and subsea service equipment to acquire critical reservoir data at customer locations.
- Deliver technical and operational support to customers, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of field operations.
- Lead activities across the full project lifecycle, including pre-job planning, on-site execution, post-job analysis, and performance reviews.
- Act as a key technical point of contact for customers, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior field personnel and Associate Technical Professionals within the service centre.
- Coordinate job schedules and liaise with customers regarding technical performance, operational improvements, and service delivery enhancements.
- Support local business development initiatives by promoting current technologies and solutions to customers.
- Initiate, review, and close Continuous Improvement, Prevention, and Corrective Action processes where required.
- Apply engineering principles to solve operational challenges and optimise service delivery.
- Work closely with internal Product Service Lines and Solutions Teams to ensure equipment specifications and operational requirements are met.
- Serve as a communication link between customers and internal technical teams to facilitate successful project outcomes.
- Contribute directly to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Geology, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years' field operations experience, including significant experience within well testing operations.
- Strong understanding of reservoir evaluation and well testing methodologies.
- Proven ability to work independently while providing leadership and technical direction to field teams.
- Excellent customer-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
