Buyer in Aberdeen

TEXO Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join one of our external clients based in Aberdeen. This role is key to driving a strategic procurement approach across a group of companies, with a strong focus on ethical sourcing, quality, and supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and supply goods/services in line with client KPIs
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and discounts to maximise value and profit
• Identify and qualify new suppliers to enhance the supply chain
• Ensure procurement aligns with QHSE standards and company policies
• Utilise client surplus stock for all RFQs
• Resolve queries and support invoice issue resolution
• Assist with tender pricing and ensure market competitiveness
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through regular feedback
• Support e-commerce platforms (Energy Surplus, Expedite Function, Smartbuyer)
• Manage and resolve client complaints where possible

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a Buyer role
• MRO product knowledge
• Proficient in Excel, Crystal Reports, Dynamics GP, and management databases
