TEXO Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join one of our external clients based in Aberdeen. This role is key to driving a strategic procurement approach across a group of companies, with a strong focus on ethical sourcing, quality, and supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and supply goods/services in line with client KPIs
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and discounts to maximise value and profit
- Identify and qualify new suppliers to enhance the supply chain
- Ensure procurement aligns with QHSE standards and company policies
- Utilise client surplus stock for all RFQs
- Resolve queries and support invoice issue resolution
- Assist with tender pricing and ensure market competitiveness
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through regular feedback
- Support e-commerce platforms (Energy Surplus, Expedite Function, Smartbuyer)
- Manage and resolve client complaints where possible
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years\' experience in a Buyer role
- MRO product knowledge
- Proficient in Excel, Crystal Reports, Dynamics GP, and management databases
