Job Overview: Riva Home invites a creative professional to join a dynamic design studio in Leeds for a twelve‑month fixed‑term contract, with potential for permanent employment. The role requires driving forward‑thinking, trend‑led commercial print and homeware designs across multiple categories.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop original all‑over prints, both hand‑rendered and digital, for in‑house brands, licensed products and bespoke customer briefs.
  • Provide comprehensive understanding of print processes, techniques and fabric bases to meet ethical and quality standards.
  • Own the entire artwork lifecycle from initial concept through to preparation of technical CAD files and final sample approval.
  • Maintain commercial awareness of the UK homeware market and collaborate with buying and merchandising teams.
  • Manage multiple timelines under pressure while ensuring seamless coordination with cross‑functional teams.
  • Adapt archive work, amend scales and adjust repeating patterns to fit the studio’s agile, fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two to three years of experience in a similar role within the homeware or textile design industry.
  • Strong commercial awareness of the UK homeware market.
  • Confident user of Adobe Creative Suite and AVA.
