The Romo Group is pleased to announce an exciting opening for a Design Intern to join the Kirkby Design team in London. This six‑month paid fixed‑term contract offers a unique opportunity for a high‑achieving textile design graduate to gain hands‑on experience within a market‑leading interior textile brand renowned for pushing the boundaries of contemporary design.

Role Overview

  • Assist the Design and Brand Manager and wider design team with trend research, colour palette creation, and the preparation of mood boards.
  • Provide general administrative support while contributing to creative processes.
  • Assist with event and exhibition planning.
  • Shadow senior team members during mill sampling meetings for fabrics and wallcovering.
  • Collaborate flexibly and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Textile Design (ideally First Class) or relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong organisational skills and high creativity.
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively.
