Role Overview
The role sits within Next’s Product Team and focuses on designing and developing original patterns across a broad spectrum of home categories, including textiles, hard goods, children’s items, beauty and gifting. You will be involved from initial trend research to the creation of finished artworks – encompassing all‑over prints and character design – at every stage of the design process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct trend research and translate insights into creative concepts.
- Create finished artwork, all‑over prints and character designs.
- Work closely with the wider design team on colour matching, fabric archiving and factory briefings.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to bring designs to production.
Qualifications
- Exceptional hand‑drawing and painting skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
- Ability to adapt a personal creative style to a variety of customer types.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: £26,728 per annum. Core working hours are flexible between 8 am and 6 pm across a typical five‑day on‑site working week.
