We have an exceptional opportunity for a Junior Textile CAD Designer to join our creative team on a part‑time basis. Working within our West London studio, you’ll play a key role in supporting the design team to bring our collections to life. This is a hands‑on and creative role, ideal for a recent graduate or early‑career designer with a passion for textiles and interiors. Relevant industry experience will be an advantage.
The Role
- Assist in the creation and development of fabric, wallpaper, and home accessory designs, ensuring that all digital artwork is accurate, beautifully presented, and ready for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and edit CAD artwork for homewares, fabric, and wallpaper designs using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Prepare technical files for print and production, ensuring colour accuracy and repeat integrity.
- Digitally colour, visualise, and present designs for internal reviews and sales tools.
- Maintain digital artwork libraries and design files.
- Support preparation of design boards, mood boards, and conceptual presentations.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure artwork is production ready.
About You
- Degree in Textile Design or a related design discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; experience with textile CAD software is advantageous.
- Excellent eye for colour, pattern, and layout, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Understanding of fabric construction and repeat pattern design.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced studio environment.
- A genuine passion for textiles and interior design.
