We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager for the Medical Telemetry Unit, overseeing operations, staff, and patient outcomes, while serving as a clinical leader and role model.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage patient care functions on an ongoing basis
- Enhance patient outcomes through staff management, education, and monitoring of clinical processes
- Serve as a role model for excellence in quality care, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with medical staff to improve patient outcomes
- Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and providing nursing care
- Ensure compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician orders, nursing standards, policies, and procedures
- Oversee a 32-36 bed unit with assistance from Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) for leadership duties
Qualifications
Required:
- Florida RN license or recognized compact license
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (within 30 days of employment if not current)
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience
- Minimum 2 years recent experience as charge nurse, CNC, or in nursing management in an acute care setting
Preferred:
- Demonstrated leadership and clinical management skills in a telemetry or medical-surgical environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

- Hourly Rate: $38.52-$53.70 (based on experience)
