We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our acute care team, providing individualized therapeutic care to patients across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice and professional code of ethics
- Assess and evaluate patients' therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with physicians and the care team
- Provide skilled therapeutic care, using interventions and techniques to improve patient condition/function
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, therapeutic devices, and techniques for use outside of sessions
- Prioritize caseload, coordinate daily staffing needs, and manage assignments and handoffs
- Required:
- Current Physical Therapy license
- Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy (or higher)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of start)
- Preferred:
- Experience in high-acuity or acute care hospital settings
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Hourly Rate: $36.53 to $53.20/hr (based on experience)
