Overview
Patient Caterer – An exciting opportunity within the Patient Services Department of the facilities division. Catering duties provide a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas within Chesterfield Royal Hospital. Duties also include ensuring all kitchen areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards in line with Trust policy, and ensuring patients\\\’ meals are served efficiently to assure food quality and meet the required specification, in line with Trust policy.
Hours: 15:00hrs to 19:00hrs, 4 days per week (16 hours per week). The rota will be based on a 16 hour per week contract on a 10-week rota basis, which will include some weekends and bank holidays, or working Monday to Friday which will include bank holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas within Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
- Ensure patients\\\’ meals are served efficiently to assure food quality and to meet the required specification, in line with Trust policy.
- Ensure all kitchen areas and offices are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards in line with Trust policy.
- Follow rota and contractual terms for a 16 hour per week arrangement, including weekends and bank holidays as required.
