We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic GP to join our multi-disciplinary team of clinicians. We use SystmOne and actively look to maximise digital tools to improve the way in which we work. We are keyed into addressing health inequalities and work with a range of system partners. We offer a range of flexible working options. You will be working within a sector focused on a natural community to provide continuity of care and promote effective multi disciplinary team working. Our business support services team reduces the clinical administrative burden. We actively encourage personal development including the opportunity to develop skills across disease management areas which are remunerated in addition to your base salary. We are a training practice with a large and active research department.

Key Responsibilities
This post requires the post holder to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities of a GP working in primary care. At the higher salary scales the post holder will be expected to display the leadership, mentoring and management skills of a senior experienced GP.
All GPs working at Royal Primary Care are substantive employees. This job description acts as a guideline to the responsibilities of the post holder and will be reviewed and amended to meet changing professional and service needs.
Effectively and safely manage a mixed clinic of patients, in a medically appropriate way (clinics are constructed such that 16 patients are seen in the morning and 16 in the afternoon with time protected for result filing and general admin activity).
Participate in the on-call/duty clinician rota which involves a mix of telephone triage, acute appointments and managing the home visit demand including allocation of home visits in an appropriate manner across the available clinical team. The duty clinician is also the first point of contact for clinical queries from the ANPs, SMHPs and Pharmacists. To provide home visits for patients as part of their clinical day along with their clinical colleagues.
Royal Primary Care Derbyshire comprises 4 lists operating across 9 sites in North Derbyshire. We are CQC Good, a training practice and have an NIHR Level4 accredited research unit.
We operate in 4 sectors and use TPP SystmOne in a shared admin configuration to allow maximum operational flexibility.
We work as 4 Sectors East, West, South and Brooklyn which you can picture as 4 practices networked together like a GP led PCN before PCNs were a thing!
We enjoy working as a mixed clinical team with GPs, ANPs, Specialist Mental Health Practitioners and Pharmacists providing care to our patients in addition to an evolving group of ARRS staff.
