Clinical Imaging Assistant

Full Time and Part Time hours available (Total of 43.5hrs / week)

SALARY RANGE: BAND 3

We have vacancies for Clinical Imaging Assistants within the Imaging Care Unit. One full time and one part time (or two part time) positions available (Total 43.5 hours per week)

We are looking for a friendly, motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team or on your own initiative.

In this post, you will be expected to work in various areas/locations covered by the Imaging Care Unit, including satellite sites at Walton and Whitworth Hospitals.

The main duties of these posts include assisting the Imaging clinical team with biopsies and clinical procedures, cannulating patients prior to scans, assisting and coordinating the transfer of in-patients to and from wards, covering reception, and other general clinical/clerical duties.

Cannulation experience is desirable but not essential.

You must be able to work under pressure, prioritize your workload, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
