An exciting opportunity has arisen for a patient records clerk to join our busy team on a zero hour bank worker agreement. As part of the team, you will be responsible for delivering a timely and efficient service to all clients utilising the service both internal and external to the hospital.
Patient Records is a large team supporting the hospital in the delivery and storage of case notes within the hospital settings. Bank working hours are between 8.30 and 17.00.
Main duties are to:
- Retrieve case notes from the Patient Records Library and around the Hospital to assist the clinic preparation clerks.
- File and retrieve case notes from the patient records library in a timely manner.
- Support the Emergency Admissions team by undertaking their ward runs to deliver case notes to the wards around the hospital.
- Support the Clinic Preparation team by collecting and delivering case notes from around the hospital site ready for clinic appointments.
- Complete daily runs to the under croft to move case notes for storage.
