Catering Team Member in Chesterfield

Job Summary

DSFS is looking to recruit 2 Catering Team Members to join our team on a part‑time basis of 20 hrs per week, working between the hours of 9am and 3pm within Stacked at the Royal, located within the main entrance at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

As well as preparing our great tasting products to the highest standard, you will greet our loyal customers and deliver excellent customer service. You will serve customers from the till or behind the counter, manage ovens, make fresh sandwiches, check deliveries, and ensure the shop looks clean, tidy and presentable.

If you thrive on variety and being busy, you will enjoy this role. Shifts are 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9am‑3pm.

Main duties of the job

• Provide exceptional customer service and serve guests in a friendly, approachable manner.
• Assist with food preparation and stock rotation in the Prep Area.
• Work as part of a team.
• Follow instructions.
• Keep calm under pressure.
• Ensure full compliance with all Food Safety requirements.

Person Specification

• Essential Qualifications & Training
  • Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willingness to undertake.
  • GCSE level or equivalent; maths and English required, or equivalent experience.
• Desirable
  • Advanced Food Hygiene Level 3.
  • Experience with food allergies, special diets and labelling.
