DSFS is recruiting a Barista Team Member to work part-time, one day per week, at Costa @the Royal in the main entrance to Chesterfield Royal Hospital. The role involves providing friendly, high-quality customer service to patients, visitors and staff, ensuring full compliance with food safety requirements, and supporting the retail team in delivering service excellence.
Location: DSFS Ltd – Chesterfield Royal Hospital, Top Road, Calow, Chesterfield, S44 5BL.
Working Pattern: Part-time, one day per week. Working day will be a Wednesday on a rota pattern between 07:00 and 17:00. Hours after 20:00, before 06:00 (Mon-Fri) and Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays are paid at 40% additional pay.

Main Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service and serve guests in a friendly, approachable manner.

Qualifications:
- Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willingness to undertake.
- GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English.
Desirable:
- Good knowledge of food safety.
- Experience with food allergies, special diets and labelling.
Experience:
- Experience in a similar position with variable demand during service times.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Good communicator with ease of conversation.
- Excellent customer care skills.
- Professional approach and awareness of diverse customers.
- Ability to work independently with no constant supervision and meet deadlines.
