About the Role
As a Modern Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to support day-to-day IT operations. You’ll assist with troubleshooting, setting up devices, resolving basic technical issues, and providing great service to end-users. You’ll also undertake structured training provided by an approved apprenticeship provider, helping you build strong foundational skills in IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support to internal and external users
- Assist with device setup, configuration, software installation, and account creation
- Help diagnose and resolve common IT issues
- Log and update support tickets accurately
- Work professionally with colleagues and customers at varying technical levels
- Participate fully in apprenticeship training, assessments, and mentoring sessions
- Follow internal processes relating to security, data protection, and documentation
- Contribute positively to team culture and continuous improvement
What You’ll Learn

- Ability to work well with others and provide friendly, professional support
- Basic familiarity with computers, devices, or technology (preferred but not essential)
