We’re looking for a chef who loves food, takes pride in their craft and is excited by the opportunity to create great dishes using exceptional ingredients.
You may currently be working as a Demi Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie in a busy hotel, restaurant, events or fresh-food kitchen.
Your main responsibilities will be:
People
- Be a positive role model and support Commis Chefs and Apprentices
- Share knowledge and contribute to a strong, supportive kitchen team
- Learn from and work alongside experienced chefs within the award-winning team
Planning
- Take ownership of your section and daily mise en place
- Be organised, prepared and ready for every service
- Read and understand daily function sheets, bookings and service requirements
- Adapt quickly to changing requirements, busy services and special requests
- Support restaurant, weddings, meetings and events
Product
- Prepare, cook and present consistently high-quality dishes
- Embrace our food concept, with a focus on seasonality, local sourcing and the best of British produce
- Maintain excellent standards of quality, presentation and food hygiene
- Contribute ideas to specials and seasonal menus
Profit
- Control food waste and portion sizes
- Understand the importance of food cost and commercial performance
About You
You’ll be a Demi Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie with experience in a busy, fresh-food kitchen.
You’ll bring:
