About The Role

We are looking for a friendly, resilient and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our busy Customer Service team. In this role you will be the first point of contact for residents, helping them access vital council services and providing a positive customer experience across a wide range of enquiries. In this key role you will deal with a high volume of enquiries through phone, email, digital channels and face-to-face contact.
We are looking for someone who:
- is passionate about delivering excellent customer service
- has experience of working in a busy customer service environment
- has strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- is confident using IT systems and able to learn new systems quickly
- can manage a varied workload and remain calm under pressure
- demonstrates empathy, patience and a problem-solving approach
