About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Programmes team.
We are looking for a Programme Officer who is dynamic, forward-thinking, and - perhaps most importantly of all - a team player. You\'ll bring experience in leading business transformation projects and supporting colleagues across service areas to identify opportunities for improvement.
Sitting in our award-winning transformation team, your focus will be on driving projects centred around digital innovation, customer experience, and cultural change. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering rapid, meaningful change across the council, working in partnership to achieve the best outcomes for our residents and businesses.
You will mostly work in an agile way, participating in regular team catch ups to ensure that projects are on track, and where blockages occur you may be asked to help out other team members.
The successful candidate will have experience in project management, and a track record of building and maintaining good working relationships with key stakeholders.
You should possess a relevant degree/professional qualification or have evidence of substantial relevant experience. You will also be expected to possess and be prepared to discuss examples of projects you have managed and delivered.
For an informal discussion about this post, please contact Kirstie Grimshaw, transformation programme manager, on 01684 272180 orkirstie.grimshaw@tewkesbury.gov.uk
