We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PSHE and Cover Teacher to join our team at Tewkesbury Academy. At M1 level, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching practice while delivering a high‑quality, engaging PSHE curriculum and supporting the wider academy through planned lesson cover across a range of subjects.
Through your PSHE teaching, you will help students develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to navigate modern life with confidence. You will deliver an ambitious and inclusive curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering areas such as relationships, health and wellbeing, personal development, citizenship and preparation for life beyond school. Alongside your PSHE responsibilities, you will provide classroom cover, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre‑prepared lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and uphold the academy’s high expectations for behaviour and engagement across all subjects and year groups.
