Actual Annual Salary: £19,211 - £20,939 (Based on hours and week worked)

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,941 - £28,275 (CLF Grade B) Based on full time hours, all year round.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 32 hours per week – Part Time, Term Time Only plus Inset days

Working Pattern: 6.5 hours Monday through Thursday, 6 hours Friday.

Potential Start Date: 03 September 2026 (subject to pre-employment checks)

Role Overview

Support students by adopting relevant strategies and techniques to enable them to access the curriculum, engage with learning and achieve their full potential. Take responsibility for implementing planned learning activities and teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to students’ responses. Deliver measurable impact on student attainment as well as social and emotional wellbeing. Work collaboratively with colleagues to fulfil the role requirements.

  • Commit to obtaining relevant qualifications, e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in supporting teaching and learning or equivalent, first-aid qualification.
  • Demonstrate empathy and active listening skills.
  • Plan and organise learning activities and support materials.
  • Show a keen interest in working with children and a commitment to inclusion.
