Tewke is a growing startup focused on helping people save energy and improve their living environment. By ‘Making Smart Simple’ it delivers sustainable and efficient living, with multi-award-winning touchscreen devices for lighting, heating, music control and more. We design, build and manufacture our devices in the UK.
About the role
We’re looking for an energetic person to join the marketing team. The role involves creating daily engaging content about Tewke and its products for social media, and helping rapidly grow our social media following (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok) in collaboration with colleagues and external agency partners.
The role may also involve supporting the development of Tewke’s website (managed in-house) and creating new marketing materials aligned with Tewke’s brand identity. It may also include helping operate Tewke booths at events around the country, representing the business to prospective customers alongside colleagues.
The ideal person will be creative and well-organised, comfortable on camera and behind it editing videos, collaborative, and able to implement ideas effectively as part of a team, while demonstrating return on investment. You should be confident building relationships with colleagues and customers through social media, and able to clearly explain product features and company culture to our target audience.
Responsibilities
- Writing, filming and editing EGC (Employee Generated Content) videos for Tewke social media.
- Supporting the Customer Experience lead in developing the website and creating marketing collateral for digital and print.
- Operating exhibition stands and engaging directly with the public.
- Creating regular template-based reporting with data from multiple marketing techniques to optimise activity and influence direction to maximise sales.
- Working with the marketing team and agency partners to develop activities that communicate the Tewke lifestyle, features and capabilities to potential customers.
Hard requirements
- Energetic and confident talking to camera.
- Video script writing and directing ability, plus strong video editing ability.
- Willingness to learn, contribute as a strong team player, and help colleagues when needed.
- Fast-paced, energetic and proactive, able to manage multiple projects under pressure.
