We are seeking a talented Flutter Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy taking on responsibility and owning a project, and possess a passion for creating exceptional mobile applications. You will play a crucial role in developing a mobile app for both Android and iOS platforms, integrating with proprietary and third-party APIs, and collaborating closely with backend engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless user experience.
What you will be doing:
- Leading the development of Tewke mobile application for iOS and Android phones using the Flutter framework.
- Integrating the Tewke app with our other systems to deliver a smooth user experience for our customers.
- Launching software products to an international audience.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have worked for at least 2 years as a Flutter developer working on mobile applications. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with other software engineers across a wide technical stack. We would prefer someone who can work in our London (Southwark) office at least 3 days a week, however we will consider remote candidates. You will need to have the right to work in the UK.
- Proficient in Dart and the Flutter Framework
- 1+ years experience working on iOS / Android applications
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or similar
- Experience integrating with proprietary and 3rd party APIs
- Ability to work independently
- Good working knowledge of Git and experience with version control software from providers such as GitHub or GitLab
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
Nice to have:
- Experience as a full stack engineer to work across cloud and app infrastructure
- Experience publishing apps in the Apple App Store
- Experience in a small team working independently
- Comfortable using BLoC for state management
- Experience using WebSockets
- Experience working with home automation
