Responsibilities:
- Test and analyse components, raw materials, bulk, CIP samples, water systems and finished product following cGLP, cGMP, health and safety, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver high customer service to all customers by testing components, raw materials, bulk and finished product efficiently and timely.
- Process, maintain and archive QC documentation accurately and completely.
- Establish performance/development goals and maintain training records.
- Monitor and purchase laboratory consumables, ensuring availability for timely testing.
- Ensure performance of instrument maintenance and calibration checks.
- Assist with the method transfer process and with qualification studies on existing and new methods.
Qualifications:
- Ideally a degree in a relevant discipline and/or position‑specific experience.
- Working laboratory experience, preferably prior, or through education.
- Pharmaceutical experience operating to regulatory standards is desirable.
- Understanding of cGMP/GLP/Regulatory/Health and safety; desirable.
- Good knowledge of laboratory instrumentation (FT‑IR, UV‑Vis, HPLC, TOC, DSC).
- A good communicator, team worker, with the ability to deliver high performance standards relating to quality, safety, cost and customer service.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to follow procedures and processes closely.
