This is a key role in our field medical team across the UK and Ireland. MSL will bridge scientific excellence with field execution, working closely with therapeutic area teams and field sales team to develop and implement field medical strategies.
Responsibilities
- Engage with KOLs and implement field medical strategy in a designated territory across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Maintain direct engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) at national, regional and local levels.
- Develop and execute KOL engagement strategies and identify rising star KOLs.
- Engage with NHS trusts, academic institutions and healthcare professionals at major scientific meetings and congresses.
- Collaborate with therapeutic area medical and scientific advisors and field sales teams to translate national medical strategies into actionable field execution plans.
- Provide medical insights, market intelligence and support data generation projects.
- Partner with the wider medical and sales teams for product launch preparations and lifecycle management activities.
- Support medical education programmes, advisory board planning and global initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, ABPI Code of Practice, IPHA, HPRA, MHRA regulations and Teva internal processes.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PhD, Pharmacy, or equivalent).
- Experience in an MSL role OR a clinical psychiatry/mental health background within the NHS.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Knowledge of UK and Irish regulatory landscapes.
- Experience of engaging with key stakeholders in neurology or psychiatry.
- Desirable: Post‑graduate qualification in neurology or psychiatry.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience and experience working with field sales teams.
- Experience in launching new products, especially in neurology or psychiatry.
- Existing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in neurology and/or psychiatry.
- Understanding of clinical trial management, especially Phase II/III/IV.
Territory & Travel Requirements
- Territory covers London or South East.
- Extensive travel across UK and Ireland; international travel for meetings and conferences.
- Overnight stays required for field visits and meetings.
- Field based role: 3 to 4 days a week in the territory.
Work Schedule
- Field presence 3-4 days per week.
