Working with external counsel to develop robust invalidity positions for key patents.

Crafting patent certification strategies and drafting detailed Notice letters and statements.

Driving exclusivity strategies, such as labeling carve-outs.

Coordinating globally on critical IP matters, including manufacturing site, device, and API considerations.

Collaborating with Regulatory Affairs to prepare ANDA submissions, patent amendments, and responses to Information Requests (IR) and Complete Response Letters (CRL).

Supporting the Portfolio Team with IP landscapes and strategic launch scenarios.

Managing external opinion counsel to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions on time.

A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school (an advanced degree in a relevant science is a plus).

Admission to practice law in New Jersey or eligibility for an in-house limited license.

5-7 years of prior patent experience, with a preference for expertise in small molecule pharmaceuticals.

Prior in-house patent experience is highly desirable.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
