Join our team as a Fleet Mechanic where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment. We are seeking a skilled individual with expertise in automotive repair and maintenance.
Duties:
- You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our extensive inventory of machinery and tools.
- Range of knowledge; Gas vehicles, skid steers, excavators, generators, and landscaping equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on a diverse range of equipment, including large machinery and small tools.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, ranging from basic tune-ups to complex component replacements, to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently, utilizing diagnostic tools and your expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and rental regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize workload and ensure timely completion of repairs, minimizing downtime for rented equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service, offering guidance and assistance to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a mechanic with gas engines repair and diagnosis as well as light duty to HD vehicles (skid steers, tractors, mini excavators).
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to weld preferred.
- Ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively, minimizing equipment downtime.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
