As an Ecommerce Manager, specialising in online marketplaces, you will lead the expansion strategy and be responsible for the setup, management, and overall performance of various marketplace channels, including but not limited to platforms such as eBay, Temu, OnBuy, B&Q, Tesco, The Range, and others. You will play a crucial role in establishing our presence on the platforms, driving sales, maximising conversion and visibility, optimising service levels, and ensuring the overall success of our marketplace sales and operations. You will be hands on with listing activity, refining, and optimising our online proposition, from product, price, and promotion perspectives, using insights and analysis, from monitoring and assessing marketplace opportunities, marketplace research tools, competitor benchmarking, and product/category performance.
- Marketplace Expertise – Strong hands-on experience managing and scaling performance across platforms such as, but not limited to, eBay, B&Q, OnBuy, and The Range.
- Ecommerce & Commercial Acumen – Solid understanding of online trading strategies, revenue drivers, product profitability, and promotional tactics.
- Marketplace Setup & Channel Expansion – Proven ability to launch new marketplace accounts, ensuring compliance, accurate integration, and optimisation.
- Product Listing & Content Optimisation – Skilled in creating and refining product listings using platform-specific SEO best practices to enhance visibility and conversions.
- Collaboration – Work effectively across departments (cataloguing, digital marketing, content, operations, customer service).
- Multi-Channel System Experience – Familiarity with tools such as Linnworks or equivalent for managing listings, orders, and inventory across channels.
- Innovation & Adaptability – Stay on top of ecommerce and marketplace trends to continuously improve.
