Role Overview
We are looking for a Amazon Category Manager (German Speaking) to support and optimise our product catalogue on Amazon Germany (Amazon.de). This role is responsible for ensuring product listings are accurate, compliant, optimised, and localised for the German market, helping to improve visibility, conversion, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, upload, and maintain high-quality product listings on Amazon.de
- Ensure all catalogue data is accurate, complete, and compliant with Amazon policies
- Localise and optimise product content in German, including titles, bullet points, descriptions, and keywords
- Manage variation structures, parent/child relationships, and category assignments
- Upload and maintain images, A+ Content, and brand assets
- Resolve catalogue issues such as listing errors, suppressions, and attribute conflicts
- Monitor listing performance and implement content improvements to increase conversion
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, product, and e-commerce)
- Support Amazon advertising and promotional activity through strong catalogue foundations
- Keep up to date with Amazon catalogue and content guidelines
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised, methodical, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Confident working with data, spreadsheets, and internal systems
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve catalogue issues efficiently
- Experience in FMCG, automotive, or consumer goods is desirable but not essential
