About The Role
Job Title: Ecommerce Manager
Reporting To: Head of Ecommerce
Terms: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 35 Hours Per Week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 06:00pm flexibility)
Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Ecommerce Manager with deep expertise in Shopify to lead the growth and optimisation of our Shopify-based ecommerce stores . This role focuses on enhancing our direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategy, maximising online revenue, and delivering a seamless and engaging user experience.
As the Shopify Specialist, you will oversee store performance, merchandising, site operations, third-party integrations, and digital marketing alignment to ensure our Shopify stores perform to the highest standard.
Core Competencies
- Shopify Expertise – Deep knowledge of Shopify admin, theme customisation, Liquid code (basic understanding), and third-party app ecosystems.
- Analytical Thinking – Strong command of analytics tools (Shopify Analytics, GA4, etc.) to inform store improvements.
- UX/UI Awareness – Passion for user experience and CRO best practices.
- Ecommerce Acumen – Strong commercial awareness, ability to drive online sales performance.
- Project Management – Capable of managing multiple Shopify initiatives, timelines, and agency or freelancer relationships.
- Collaboration – Work effectively across departments (cataloguing, digital marketing, content, operations, customer service).
- Innovation & Adaptability – Stay on top of ecommerce and Shopify trends to continuously improve.

You are a commercially minded ecommerce professional with a proven track record in managing Shopify channels. You bring strategic thinking, attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach to growing online sales. You are:
- Strategic & Analytical – Able to develop ecommerce strategies backed by data analysis and performance insights.
- Commercially Astute – Understand pricing strategies, revenue optimisation, and market dynamics to drive growth.
- Operationally Strong – Detail-oriented in managing listings, pricing, and promotional activities to enhance visibility and conversion.
- Customer-Focused – Committed to delivering excellent service levels and enhancing the customer experience.
- Adaptable & Innovative – Comfortable with change, responsive to market trends, and always looking to improve and innovate.
- Collaborative & Problem-Solving – Work well across teams, resolving issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years in a Shopify-focused ecommerce management role.
- Proven success managing Shopify stores and driving revenue growth.
- Experience with tools such as Shopify Plus, Analytics & Reporting
