Reporting To: Digital Marketing Manager, Head of Ecommerce
Location: Rochdale, OL16 1XB
Terms: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 35 Hours Per Week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am β 06:00pm flexibility)
Overview
As our Ecommerce Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging digital assets that enhance our websiteβs performance, support customer engagement, and drive online sales. This role will play a key part in supporting our trading and communication plan by producing high-quality creative assets that drive engagement, conversion, and brand consistency across all digital channels, and will support our website development roadmap.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, proven experience in ecommerce environments, and the technical skills to deliver across static, interactive, and motion formats.
You will work within the ecommerce and digital marketing team, and collaborate with content teams, to ensure all assets align with trading priorities, marketing campaigns, and brand guidelines.
Core Competencies
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite β Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects or Premiere Pro for motion graphics; Adobe XD or Figma for UI/UX Design.
- Digital Asset Creation β Experience producing a wide range of ecommerce assets including banners, product graphics and email visuals.
- UX/UI Design β Website development design capability in line with front end and back end scoping, with understanding of modules, web usability and responsive ecommerce experiences.
- Motion Graphics Capability β Ability to create animations or motion graphics to support campaigns and product content.
- Brand & Visual Communication β Strong grasp of brand identity, visual storytelling, and digital design principles, with the vision to evolve and strengthen the brand as it grows.
- Ecommerce Focus β Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, customer journey stages, and performance-focused design.
- Organisational Skills β Capable of managing multiple design requests, adeptness to work to short timescales, prioritising deadlines, and working both independently and collaboratively.
- Communication & Collaboration β Strong ability to communicate design concepts and work closely with digital marketing, ecommerce, and development teams.

- Experience working with ecommerce CMS platforms or website builders (Magento, Shopify, WordPress, etc.).
