Purpose & Scope of the Role
As a Senior Transport Planner within our Manchester-based Transport North team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, development-led transport planning solutions. Working across both private and public sector projects, you will contribute to a wide range of schemes including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This role blends technical delivery with collaboration—producing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Environmental Impact Assessment inputs, while engaging with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
You will have relevant industry experience in transport planning, including preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, with AutoCAD and GIS knowledge advantageous. A degree (or Masters) in transport planning, civil engineering, geography or a related field is required, with professional accreditation (CIHT, CILT, TPP or ICE) desirable.
Working Environment
This is a full-time role based in Manchester with hybrid working in place, typically combining office and home working. Flexible working arrangements are supported, with an expectation of regular in-office collaboration alongside opportunities for remote working.
