Principal Information Manager At Tetra Tech, you’ll work on high-impact projects across the UK, helping to tackle some of the most complex environmental challenges.

Purpose & Scope of the Role As Principal Information Manager within our Design Management team, you will support the delivery of a wide range of infrastructure and development projects across the UK.

Working on schemes from 0.1m to 100m, you will ensure the effective management and delivery of critical information throughout the lifecycle of Tetra Tech projects.

You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from project inception and client engagement through to detailed design and project close-out, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting business growth activities.

Your Impact in this position You will play an important role in delivering effective solutions that support effective project delivery for our clients.

Your technical input will help shape our strategy and processes in managing critical project information, while your collaboration and mentoring will strengthen team capability and project outcomes.

Core Capabilities Technical Skills Proficiency in data management systems, database software, and IT security protocols.

Knowledge and understanding of BS EN ISO 19650 compliance is essential Analytical Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess data needs and implement effective solutions Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and present data findings clearly.

Ability to work collaboratively with other team members internally and externally.

Project Delivery & Development Experience contributing to projects from inception through to delivery; Ability to support project management activities and assist with bids and proposals Collaboration & Professional Growth Team-oriented with the ability to mentor and support junior colleagues; Committed to continuous development.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience A degree (or equivalent) in information management, computer science, or a related field in a relevant discipline is required, with experience in civil, structural or related construction engineering discipline desirable.

Working towards or holding chartership with an appropriate professional institution is desirable.

UK project experience is essential.

Eligibility for SC clearance is required.

Working Environment This role can be based out of any of our UK offices.

Hybrid working is supported.

Projects are UK-wide, so occasional travel and flexibility in working hours may be required.
