b Overview /b p As part of the northern geo-environment team, you will deliver engineering geology and geo-environmental services on technically complex projects across the north of England. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to design, supervise, and report on site investigations, supported by a strong focus on ground conditions, contamination, and remediation. The role offers varied field and office work with a clear path to expand technical expertise and client impact. You will help drive sustainable solutions for utilities, development, and public sector clients. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li hybrid working /li li flexible working arrangements /li li travel for site work /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Deliver engineering geology and geo-environmental services across challenging projects and sites /li li Assist with design, procurement, supervision, management and reporting of geotechnical and geo-environmental assessments and site investigations /li li Produce desk study assessments and collect site data for factual and interpretative reports /li li Undertake ground gas and groundwater monitoring activities /li li Develop desk-based site geology/hydrogeology histories and conceptual models /li li Design geotechnical and contamination investigations and interpret data into reports /li li Create remediation strategies and earthworks specifications and contribute to construction phase activities /li li Support tendering, project management, and liaison with multidisciplinary teams and clients /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Degree or Masters in geology or engineering geology /li li Experience in ground investigation, geotechnical and geo-environmental assessment and reporting /li li Mining risk, earthworks and remediation experience is beneficial /li li Strong written and verbal communication skills /li li IT literacy and good understanding of health, safety and CDM regulations /li li Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site work /li /ul ul li Strong communication (written and verbal) /li li Collaboration and teamwork /li li Problem-solving mindset /li li Ground investigation /li li Geotechnical and geo-environmental assessment and reporting /li li Ground gas and groundwater monitoring /li /ul
