Tetra Tech is seeking an organised, proactive Contract Team Leader to support leakage and network performance delivery across the South East Water region. You will coordinate Data Maintenance Technicians, work closely with South East Water Regional Leakage Managers, and help keep monitoring assets, systems and field activity running effectively. This is a hands‑on role spanning planning, operational control, data management and field support. You will manage tasks in Waternet, maintain accurate records, support incident response, track performance and contribute to delivery across complex workstreams.
Your Impact in This Position
In the short term, you will strengthen team productivity, improve task flow and support reliable data and asset performance. In the medium term, you will help drive better operational control, reporting and delivery standards. Over time, you will build expertise across leakage operations, network performance and team leadership, with scope to grow within a significant and technically challenging environment.

- Data and Systems Management: Confident handling operational data, task tracking and reporting systems; Waternet experience is beneficial, with full training provided.
- Field Leadership: Comfortable supporting technicians, site activity, audits and incident response in a fast‑paced operational setting.
- Stakeholder Communication: Able to work effectively with internal teams, contractors and South East Water stakeholders, building trust through clarity and responsiveness.
Organisation and Delivery Focus
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage records, logistics, compliance tasks and performance targets.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
You should have experience in operational coordination, team support or field delivery, alongside strong communication and organisational skills. A manual driving licence is essential. Waternet, Maximo or leakage network knowledge is desirable, but not essential. Relevant technical training or operational qualifications would be an advantage.
Work Pattern and Location
Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00. Based at Maidstone with up to four office days per week, with the remainder site‑based. Hybrid and flexible working may be considered in line with operational requirements.
