Purpose & Scope of the Role

As a Senior or Principal Planner, you'll provide expert planning advice to public and private sector clients across a diverse portfolio, including residential, retail, education and energy. You'll work across the development lifecycle, from site appraisals and feasibility through to planning applications, appeals and strategic advice. With access to Tetra Tech's multidisciplinary specialists and national network, you'll broaden your technical experience and contribute to projects of varying scale and complexity across the UK.

Your Impact in this position

You'll take ownership of a varied workload, managing multiple projects while delivering high-quality, commercially focused planning advice. You'll build trusted client relationships, develop your own portfolio of work and take responsibility for project delivery, budgets and quality. Working alongside planners and technical specialists across Tetra Tech, you'll contribute to complex multidisciplinary proposals, share your expertise and strengthen your market profile.   You'll be an RTPI-accredited Town Planner with relevant experience in consultancy, local government, development or housebuilding. We welcome experienced Senior Planners, as well as talented planners ready to take the next step in their career.
