We are looking for a Senior Public Health/Hydraulic Engineer responsible for technical delivery of projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will be able to work independently as well as part of multi-discipline project teams.
- Design and document hydraulic systems through concept, design development and detailed documentation phases.
- Review technical submissions by Contractors and Sub-Contractors and the quality of construction against the specified requirements.
- Undertake Construction Administration on projects designed by NDY.
- Ensure NDY's IMS System is implemented and maintained on projects, which may require quality assurance reviews for peer projects.
- Proactively identify, develop and promote ways to improve operating capability.
- Manage your involvement in projects so that work is completed efficiently whilst meeting client needs.
- Engage with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring that expectations are known, managed, and fulfilled, within program and project constraints.
- Liaise with Contractors and Sub-Contractors to address construction-related documentation issues.
- Attend site meetings as appropriate and report on the status of the work and any items of concern.
Who we’re looking for:
- Seasoned engineering professional with a proven track record spanning the entire project lifecycle, overseeing project delivery with 5 - 7 years of experience in Hydraulic services.
- Experience in the following hydraulic fields is essential: Water supply design, Sanitary Plumbing & Drainage design, Stormwater drainage design, Hot Water design, Natural gas design, Rainwater recycling design, Trade waste drainage design and liaison with local Water Authorities.
- Established expertise in the Hydraulic services industry with sound knowledge of local standards.
- Deep understanding of local building project practices and location requirements.
