Over time, you will develop broader technical capability, support the mentoring of others and progress within a team that delivers meaningful, visible outcomes on significant projects.

Core Capabilities

  • Leakage detection expertise: Apply practical methods to locate proactive and reactive leaks accurately and efficiently.
  • Safety and compliance focus: Work safely on highways, in confined spaces and in variable weather, maintaining full H&S compliance.
  • Operational delivery: Meet performance targets, complete admin tasks accurately and manage daily field priorities effectively.
  • Communication and teamwork: Build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors and the client, while working independently when required.
  • Adaptability and mentoring: Support changeable schedules, travel requirements and the development of assistant technicians.

Skills, Qualifications And Experience

Essential: full UK driving licence, National Water Hygiene, Unit 2 NRSWA, good basic maths and English, basic IT skills, good hearing, and the ability to work nights, weekends and overtime as needed.

Desirable: previous leakage detection or water network experience, and experience supporting or mentoring others.
