This role based in Harrogate (or potentially Reading or Manchester) is for Coffey Geotechnics, a Tetra Tech Company. Coffey Geotechnics is a specialist consultancy providing geotechnical and engineering geological design services from offices in Harrogate, Manchester and Reading (UK).
About the role: We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join the Coffey Geotechnics team in Reading. The role involves both office-based design and site supervision work for a wide range of size and type of geotechnical projects, working with experienced colleagues both in Reading and across the other Coffey Geotechnics offices.
The role would involve working on projects that require detailed design of geotechnical structures, design and specification of ground investigation and earthworks, assessment of slope stability, settlement and ground movement. This includes working on permanent and temporary works for a variety of infrastructure projects both nationally and internationally.
