We are looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor to undertake risk assessments and other Legionella control based consultancy in line with COSHH regulations / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 / BS 8580 -1 2019.

Responsibilities
  • Location – Home based with travel to Kent and surrounding areas.
  • Salary – Up to £40,000 depending on experience plus benefits.
  • Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with COSHH regulations / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 / BS 8580 -1 2019.
  • Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers.
  • Providing recommendations for the elimination, reduction and management of risk.
  • Collating and producing comprehensive reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports.
Qualifications
  • Experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments and ideally from a Legionella Consultancy background.
  • Suitable experience across multiple sectors is desirable (education / healthcare / commercial etc).
  • Knowledge of multiple water system types is desirable (evaporative cooling / hot and cold water systems / spa’s and hot tubs / swimming pools).
  • Approved Legionella Risk Assessment qualification eg. City & Guilds, BOHS, WMSoc.
  • A good working knowledge of ACoP L8, HTM 04-01 & other relevant Guidance Documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Willing to travel and do occasional overnight stays.
