The BDM will manage existing clients, maintaining strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

Location – Initially 2-3 times a week in London for training then after training around twice a month. Some UK travel required.

Other duties include:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Identify areas and opportunities for growth and new business, within existing client accounts.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams across the business to ensure the smooth running of the account and that client deliverables are communicated and achieved.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Demonstrate the PRISM software to clients and provide software training where required.
  • Maintain the CRM system for clients within the BDMs responsibility.
  • Maintain the Client Information Sheet and communicate client specific requirements to stakeholders in the business.
  • Monitor sales performance on an ongoing basis with regular (weekly) updates of the forecast and pipeline.
  • Hold regular face to face client service review meetings, presenting SLA performance, schedules of work, financial information, business updates and new service offerings.
  • Where required, attend clients’ premises to assist with fee proposals.
  • Work with stakeholders in the business to manage client feedback, ensuring any complaints are successfully resolved.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent communication skills and time management skills.
  • Client knowledge / knowledge of the property management sector.
  • Awareness of industry and legislative changes.
  • Software skills (CRM, PRISM, Microsoft) training provided on internal software.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks to meet key stakeholder needs and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to work unsupervised and to use your own initiative.
