About the job
The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer contributes to Tether\’s open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. The role involves technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit\’s capabilities. Experience with wallet creation or DeFi is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to innovative projects using agile methodologies and advanced technologies.
- Ensure backend services are scalable, responsive, and real-time to support growth.
- Maintain high security standards to protect user assets and data.
Requirements
- +5 years of experience with Node.js and JavaScript development.
- Experience building or integrating crypto wallets for DeFi/blockchain applications.
- Familiarity with modular architecture for scalable applications.
- Experience developing complex platforms and APIs.
- Understanding of Peer-to-Peer technologies.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong security practices knowledge.
