About The Job

As a senior Frontend Developer, you will be a part of the team that works on the development and maintenance of the frontend components of multiple applications related to the platform. This includes:

• New Products and Features: Tether continuously strives to create innovative new features in order to provide the most professional experience for customers. These are developed and deployed using agile methodologies, to ensure the user experience remains the best in the industry.
• Performance: All UI components that power Tether platform must remain effortlessly smooth, responsive, and real-time for customers as the platform continues to scale to accommodate new user growth.
• Security: Tether makes security its most important feature. The Frontend Development team is responsible for building all the interactions with API services with the highest security principles and standards, in order to protect the safety of the entire user base.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to work on the development of the Bitfinex KYC webapps.
• New Features: Create innovative new features in order to provide the most professional KYC experience for customers and compliance officers. These are developed and deployed using agile methodologies.
• Scalability: The web application must remain effortlessly smooth, responsive, and real-time for customers as the platform continues to scale to accommodate new user growth.
• Design: Build beautiful reactive applications and trading tools.
• Domain knowledge: Willing to learn the domain-related logic and condition-based logic, including the one based on the difference between multiple users' scenarios and combinations of factors.
• Debugging: Be able to debug hidden/hard to find issues when needed, advanced usage of browser debugging tools, including network, source, stop points, etc.

5+ years of proven experience in software development, with a strong focus on Frontend. Knowledgeable and experienced with micro-service architecture. Comfortable with high-availability concepts. Highly proficient in JavaScript and ES6+. Thoroughly experienced with React, SASS, Redux, build tools and the core principles surrounding these. Some backend experience to be able to run the app locally via NodeJS, with MongoDB, configuring ports and local environment. Familiar with modern front-end pipelines and tools. Experienced with RESTful and RPC-based APIs. Interest in bringing diverse, innovative applications to life. Interest in modernising and optimising different web applications.
