SAP TPM BW Lead Consultant in Weybridge

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP TPM (Trade Promotion Management) BW Lead Consultant to drive the design, implementation, and support of SAP BW-based trade promotion and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP BW/BW4HANA within a TPM landscape, along with working familiarity of SAP CRM to support integration and end-to-end promotion planning processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of SAP BW/BW4HANA experience, with at least 3-4 years focused on Trade Promotion Management (TPM) landscapes.
• Strong hands-on experience with BW data modeling: InfoObjects, DSOs/ADSOs, CompositeProviders, transformations, process chains.
• Proficiency in BEx Query Designer, Analysis for Office, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting on top of BW.
• Working knowledge of SAP CRM, specifically the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) module — promotion planning, fund management, claims/settlements.
• Experience integrating SAP CRM and SAP BW data flows (standard extractors, ODP, or custom extraction).
• Familiarity with SAP CRM Middleware/PI-PO for data replication between CRM and other systems is a plus.
• Exposure to S/4HANA embedded analytics or migration projects from BW to BW/4HANA is desirable.
• Strong understanding of trade spend, promotion effectiveness, and revenue growth management (RGM) business concepts.
• Prior experience leading a team or workstream in a full-cycle SAP implementation (blueprint to go-live).
• Excellent communication skills to interact with business, functional, and technical stakeholders.
• SAP certification in BW or TPM is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), Retail, or Food & Beverage industries where TPM is commonly used.
• Knowledge of SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) or SAP Vistex TPM as an alternative TPM platform is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP BW solutions for Trade Promotion Management (TPM), including data modeling, extraction, and reporting.
• Design and build InfoObjects, InfoProviders (ADSO, CompositeProviders), transformations, DTPs, and BEx queries to support TPM analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements around trade spend, promotion planning, accruals, settlements, and post-event analysis, translating them into technical BW designs.
• Integrate SAP BW with SAP CRM (Trade Promotion Management module) to ensure seamless data flow between promotion planning, execution, and reporting layers.
• Work with CRM TPM master data objects (e.g., promotions, accounts, products, funds) to support downstream BW extraction and reporting.
• Lead a team of BW/TPM consultants, providing technical guidance, code/design reviews, and mentorship.
• Manage data extraction from source systems (SAP CRM, ECC/S4HANA, non-SAP sources) into BW using standard and custom extractors.
• Optimize BW performance, data loads, and query response times.
• Partner with functional TPM consultants to align technical solutions with business processes (trade fund management, promotion effectiveness, ROI analysis).
• Drive testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and support cutover/go-live activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot data/reporting issues, and manage change requests.
• Act as a liaison between business, functional, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
