We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role requires strong hands-on architectural experience in API-led connectivity, microservices, and healthcare integrations, with exposure to FHIR and HL7 standards. The architect will work closely with onshore and offshore teams, stakeholders, and customers to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant integration solutions.

Job Specification / Responsibilities

  • Design and develop API management solutions and microservices using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Act as Integration Technology Architect for Hybrid Integration and iPaaS adoption, with a strong focus on MuleSoft capabilities.
  • Define and deliver integration architecture, including high-quality architectural designs and technical documentation.
  • Champion Microservices, API Management, process automation, and enterprise integration frameworks across programmes.
  • Communicate architecture, implementation approach, and design methodology effectively to offshore development teams.
  • Participate in Technical Design Authority forums to assess, quantify, and communicate design risks to stakeholders.
  • Lead end-to-end integration activities including design, build, test support, and deployment.
  • Provide hands-on expertise and guidance in developing robust and scalable integration solutions.
  • Collaborate daily with customers and delivery teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDDs) covering functional and non-functional requirements, using RAML and standard integration templates.
  • Design integration solutions aligned with organisational standards, security policies, and client-specific constraints.
  • Ensure integration solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements, particularly within healthcare environments.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, with strong hands-on experience as a MuleSoft Architect.
  • Proven experience designing API-led integration architectures using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of API lifecycle management, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience working in healthcare domains with FHIR and HL7 standards.
  • Experience delivering integration solutions in hybrid and cloud-based environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with distributed and offshore delivery teams.
